Costa do Sol wins the 2017 Cup of Honor

The Costa do Sol team sponsored by Gigawatt won the 2017 Cup of Honor, after winning the Liga Desportiva de Maputo 1-0, in the match of the third round.

The Costa do Sol team sponsored by Gigawatt won the 2017 Cup of Honor, after winning the Liga Desportiva de Maputo 1-0, in the match of the third round.

The only goal of the match was scored by striker Mbulu in the second half. The canarinhos finished the race with seven points plus one that A Liga Desportiva de Maputo, that was in second place.

In the 2017 edition this event was attended by four teams namely: Costa do Sol, Maxaquene, Liga Desportiva de Maputo, and Ferroviário de Maputo.

The Cup of Honor is a competition organized by the Football Association of the City of Maputo, and aims to give a competitive rhythm to the teams from the capital of the country that will participate in the Moçambola and the Second Division of South Zone Honors.
