EDM and Gigawatt actively engaged to finalize the agreement to connect the village of Ressano Garcia to the local grid, rather being supplied by South Africa.

The tri-party agreement, together with Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM) Central Térmica de Ressano Garcia (CTRG), will contribute positively to mitigating the load shedding in South Africa that has affected Ressano Garcia in recent years.
