Training courses in Ressano Garcia

Gigawatt is sponsoring training courses to Ressano Garcia residents and promoting internships to newly formed university students at the power station

In the scope of social responsibility, Gigawatt is sponsoring training in installation electricity to young men and women of Ressano Garcia to promote self employment. The course is given according to the memorandum signed with the National Institute of Employment, under the tutelage of the Ministry of Labor. In the same scope, opportunities are being offered at the power station for pre-professional internships to senior students from superior institutions in Mozambique.

After graduation in mid July, the students will have access to the self-employment kits, to be able to work and improve this activity in Ressano Garcia. The kits will be supplied in groups of three to also develop the entrepreneurship capacity of the students.
