Covid-19 Pandemic

Gigawatt actively contributes to combating the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and throughout 2021.

Gigawatt has been actively engaging with the community through the local administrative structures and community and religious leaders, in order to assist not only with preventative materials but also with information and training regarding the efforts to fight the Covid-19 pandemic. The initiatives which were conducted on several occasions, included the donation of face masks, plastic bins, alcohol based personal disinfectants, general use disinfectants, pumps for the markets and public transportation vehicles, digital thermometers to the local administration, Ressano Garcia public health center and local schools, and most importantly training on their usage and monitoring of the pandemic spread.
