Gigawatt even before moving forward with the construction of the project, always had as its aim the development of the community of Ressano Garcia.

The resettlement of the affected families in the allocation of land, territorial plan for the expansion and new planning of the village, the renewal of the water supply, creation of the community radio, providing a tractor and trailer for solid waste collection, Gigawatt aims to develop Ressano Garcia as a whole, not just by the jobs it will create.
