Village Improvements

Within the framework of social responsibility, the Gigawatt is sponsoring the development of Village development.

Village improvement measures were as follows:

• rehabilitation and painting of public buildings walls;

• solid waste collection activities having granted a tractor and trailer, collection containers and equipment;

• payment of 7 months wages to workers;

• rehabilitation of small water supply system to the village;

• establishment of a cultural center and community radio;

• plot definition of “Bairro 25 de Junho”;

• landfill was identified in coordination with Chief of the Post and he referred the information to the district services-Environmental Unit;
